OCT. 25 • UNDERSTANDING THE MESSIANIC HOPE IN JUDAISM – Most Jews will insist that Judaism does not accept Jesus as the Messiah, but are unable to explain why. This session will trace the origins of the Jewish Messianic concept in the Bible and analyze whether Jesus fulfilled the criteria.
NOV. 01 • JUDAISM AND CHRISTIANITY: THE PARTING OF THE WAYS – The original followers of Jesus were all Jews. However, before long, Christianity became a totally non-Jewish religion. This session will explore this transformation and seek to understand the major differences between these two religions.
NOV. 08 • SCRIPTURE TWISTING: HOW MISSIONARIES DISTORT THE JEWISH BIBLE – Christians often claim that there are numerous prophesies in the Jewish Bible that conclusive prove that Jesus was the Messiah and that the teachings of the church were all anticipated there. This session will discuss the major ways in which the actual meaning of the Bible is distorted by these missionaries.
NOV. 15 • ISAIAH’S SUFFERING SERVANT: ANALYZING A HOTLY DEBATED PASSAGE – The 53rd chapter in the Book of Isaiah is the nuclear bomb in the missionary arsenal. They are convinced that it conclusive proves that Jesus was the Messiah. This session will carefully analyze this chapter and demonstrate the fallacies in the missionary presentation.
NOV. 22 • THE BATTLE FOR THE JEWISH SOUL: TODAY’S MISSIONARY CHALLENGE – Which Christian denominations are devoted to seeking the conversion of the Jewish people? And what is it that fuels this obsession? This session will explore these important questions and delineate the new tactics employed by these missionaries and the extent and success of their activities.
NOV. 29 • EVANGELICALS AND ISRAEL: KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR OR TROJAN HORSE? – Israel is facing mounting opposition and hostility across the world today. Evangelical Christians have been one of the few reliable allies over the past decades. Why are they so passionately supportive of Israel and are there any reasons for the Jewish community to be concerned?
