ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND TORAH: Are Computers Replacing Rabbis?

• In the 21st century, computers scientists, using neural networks in artificial intelligence chess engines, had developed the technology that could beat the strongest human grandmasters. Leading rabbinic scholars are devoted to understanding the vast landscape of the Torah and addressing new questions of Torah law that arise each year. Will we ever see the day where these sages are replaced by AI programs? In this lecture, Rabbi Michael Skobac will explore this and related questions.

Lecture #2:

A Missionary Attacks Jews for Judaism’s video: WHY JESUS IS NOT THE JEWISH MESSIAH — Jews for Judaism Responds!

• About twelve years ago, Jews for Judaism needed a powerful pamphlet to hand out at at the Annual Walk With Israel, where Jews for Jesus missionaries would attempt to proselytize 20,000 Jewish walk participants. Rabbi Michael Skobac wrote our  “Two-Minute Counter-Missionary Crash Course” pamphlet https://jewsforjudaism.ca/why-jesus-is-not-the-jewish-messiah/ for the occasion. The brochure was so successful that we narrated it as a YouTube video titled “Why Jews Don’t Believe in Jesus” and it went viral https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep8jcz_hk_A&t=8s with 824,000 views worldwide to date in various versions. Christian missionary Nathanael Kapner, who was born Jewish, posted a video attempting a point-by-point refutation of this popular video. In this lecture, Rabbi Skobac will respond to each of Kapner’s arguments and expose their flaws.
