Chanukah celebrates the victory of the Jewish people 2,200 years ago, against enemies who sought to extinguish Jewish identity through assimilation into Greek culture.
However, today there are many more threats to Jewish survival. The multi-million dollar efforts of missionaries to convert Jews to Christianity, cults, assimilation, Jewish ignorance and apathy, intermarriage and anti-Semitism are tragically at an all-time high.
Jews for Judaism is combating these threats with specialized counseling services, hundreds of online videos and ongoing educational programs that provide inspiration and encouragement to thousands of people each day.
We are lighting the flame of Jewish survival and fulfilling the mandate of our sages, who proclaimed, “Whoever saves a single soul is as if he saved an entire world.”
